Access for the Disabled
The whole of the Orkney Theatre site including the car park is accessible for wheelchair users and those with mobility difficulties. Within the auditorium there are two spaces on Row A and two spaces on Row R reserved for wheelchair users. In each case there is a seat next to the wheelchair space for an accompanying person. More spaces can be provided with prior knowledge given to the management.
Please note: The Orkney Theatre does not sell tickets. All ticket sales are the responsibility of the show promoter. However, with shops selling tickets and online tickets sales double bookings can occur. We prefer to speak directly to the customer about their specific needs and allocate them the best seats available to serve these needs. Please call us on 07562355111
Blue Badge Holders
There are spaces available for blue badge holders. These spaces are on a first come, first served basis.
If you are a blue badge holder and have problems on arrival please speak to our Front of House staff and we will try to solve your issue.
The theatre has installed an induction loop system for those who use a hearing aid. It is necessary to set your hearing aid to the T position before the performance starts.
Orkney Theatre welcomes assistance dogs and is happy to cater for their needs when attending a performance. Please
notify us on 07562355111 to enable us to allocate the best seats available to serve their needs.
